Vastu
Transform Your Home into a Place of Harmony and Wellbeing
Vastu Shastra is an ancient Indian tradition of architecture and spatial design, sometimes described as “Vedic Feng Shui”. It describes the harmonious interplay between people, spaces and nature.Vastu considers natural cycles, the movement of the sun, the cardinal directions and the surrounding landscape, together with the orientation, proportions and arrangement of a building. The intention is to bring architecture, nature and the people who inhabit a space into greater harmony. From a Vastu perspective, a home is more than a functional place to live. It is an energetic body that surrounds us, an extension of ourselves. Vastu seeks to bring the physical elements and subtle energies of our living and working spaces into alignment, with the intention of supporting us in body, mind and spirit.A home should be a place that brings joy from the moment you step inside. A place where you can settle, feel nourished and find inspiration through the different stages of life.

Vastu Consultation for Your Existing Home
Would you like to understand what your home reveals about your life and how you can bring greater harmony into it?In Vastu, the home is understood as a mirror of our lives. Its layout and orientation can be interpreted in relation to personal themes, offering a way to recognise connections between our surroundings and what we experience.I analyse your home’s floor plan, architectural features, orientation and surrounding landscape according to Vastu principles.I then recommend individual measures to address Vastu defects and strengthen the home’s positive qualities.
Before you buy: property & land consultation
Are you considering buying a home or a piece of land?
A consultation before purchase allows you to explore its qualities and its possibilities from a Vastu perspective.I examine the location, surroundings and orientation, together with the layout of any existing buildings. A geomantic analysis can complement this assessment by exploring the subtle qualities and atmosphere of the place. This offers an additional perspective on your future home or land before you make your decision.
Vastu Consultation for Renovations & New Construction
When planning a renovation or a new building, Vastu offers the possibility of incorporating principles of spatial harmony from the very beginning. The aim is not simply to construct a house according to a set of rules, but to create a space that establishes a balanced relationship between the building, the land, nature and the people who will inhabit it.The position of the building, its proportions, orientation, internal layout and the relationship between different areas can all be considered from a Vastu perspective.Different functions within the home can be assigned to areas and directions that, according to Vastu principles, are particularly supportive for those activities.Even when architectural planning has already begun, a Vastu consultation can still help to make the most of the possibilities available and identify adjustments that can still be incorporated.
Elements that can be considered in a new construction or renovation:
• Position of the main building, garages and other structures on the property.• Overall building form, proportions, foundations and roof shape.• Position and proportions of the main entrance.• Location and design of staircases.• Room arrangement according to function.• Kitchen location and layout.• Bed placement and sleeping direction.• Orientations for working and studying.• Garden design, layout, planting and placement of compost areas.
Vastu consultation for your workplace
A workspace should give you room to focus, create and bring your ideas to life. Vastu offers a way to explore how the arrangement of your business premises relates to the activities taking place there, with the intention of supporting both your work and the people involved.I analyse the building’s orientation, layout and surroundings according to Vastu principles. This may include the placement of workstations, entrances, meeting rooms and storage areas, as well as furnishings and colours. Based on this analysis, I recommend adjustments to address imbalances and create a setting that encourages clarity, cooperation and the development of your business.

Geomancy
Exploring the character of places and our relationship with the living landscape.
Geomancy is an art of perceiving and interpreting the subtle qualities and structures of the Earth. It explores the relationship between people, landscapes and the forces of a place, seeking to understand its individual character and how we experience it.Within this tradition, landscapes are understood to have their own energetic structures, just as human beings are understood to have an aura and subtle energy pathways. Each place has its own history and atmosphere, which form part of the geomantic exploration. My approach combines geomantic perception with attentive observation of the place, its surroundings and the experiences of the people who live there. This work can take the form of an individual consultation, geomantic garden planning or a guided journey through the landscape.

Geomantic consultations & space harmonisation
When to consider a geomantic consultation
A geomantic consultation may be of interest if you:• Are considering buying land and would like to explore its qualities before making a decision.• Are planning construction, renovations or changes to the landscape.• Are concerned about the atmosphere of a place where distressing events have occurred.• Feel uncomfortable in a house or on a property, or have noticed a change in how it feels.• Feel that life in a particular place is not flowing as you would wish.• Wish to strengthen the vitality of a place and create a more harmonious setting for everyday life.
My approach
I begin by listening to your questions, your experiences of the place and any changes you have noticed or are planning. We also consider the property’s history and its relationship with the surrounding landscape.Through geomantic perception, I explore the qualities and patterns I perceive at the site. Within this approach, I consider possible influences associated with past events, underground watercourses and changes to the building or surrounding land.Based on this exploration, I suggest individual measures for harmonisation. These may involve space clearing, adjustments to the arrangement of a room, or work with particular areas of the home or land. For a planned purchase or building project, the consultation can also inform how you approach the site and its future use.Where appropriate, I draw on Vastu and Astro-Vastu to consider the building’s orientation, spatial organisation and directional qualities. The combination of methods depends on the place and the questions you bring.
